When to replace a Cub front rim
Rust that has eaten through the rim, especially around the valve stem hole and where the tire bead sits
A bent rim that makes the tire wobble or lose air
A restoration, where a pitted rim won't clean up
Pair it with a new tire
With the wheel off, it's a good time to put on a new Farmall Cub front tire (4.00 x 12). The Cub has two front wheels, so if one rim is rusted, check the other side too.
