Our commitment
Rice Equipment takes the privacy of our customers very seriously. We do not sell, trade, or share any of our customers' information — including email addresses — with anyone.
What we collect, and how
- Online orders are processed through our Shopify store. Your name, shipping address, and contact information are stored securely in Shopify's systems. Card payment information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on our servers.
- Phone, fax, and mail orders containing credit card information are destroyed when shipment is completed.
- We may collect an email address if you sign up for our newsletter, ask us a question, or place an order. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we use it for
- Shipping you the parts you ordered.
- Answering your questions about an order or a part.
- (If you opted in) occasional product updates and new-stock notices via our newsletter.
We don't use your data for anything else.
Cookies and site analytics
Like most online stores, our storefront uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working while you browse.
- We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site. Google receives basic usage information as part of that — pages viewed, general location, device type. We do not send Google your name, address, or payment details.
- Our store runs on Shopify, and PayPal processes payments. Each receives only what it needs to complete your order.
- Beyond those, we do not share your information with anyone.
Your rights
- You can ask us what information we have about you at any time.
- You can ask us to delete your account and your order history (we may need to keep some records for tax and accounting purposes).
